Jackie is an experienced media performer, presenting on a variety of historical topics in English and Irish. Appearing on many radio stations like RTE Radio 1, Newstalk FM, and Raidio na Gaeltachta.

1913 Gaelic League Oireachtas photo
Jackie served on the research committee responsible for identifying individuals in the recently discovered 1913 Oireachtas photograph from Galway, which was brought to public attention by the Curran family of Dublin.
This historic image, includes three future Irish Presidents (Hyde, Ó Ceallaigh, and de Valera) and four signatories of the Proclamation of the Republic(Patrick Pearse, Seán Mac Diarmada, Éamonn Ceannt, and Thomas MacDonagh), as well as Cathal Brugha and renowned writer Pádraic Ó Conaire.

From her early twenties, Jackie has been collecting and singing traditional Irish songs in English, drawing on her roots in a family of traditional singers hailing from Kilcurry, Co. Louth.
She's contributed songs to the archive of the Irish Traditional Music Archive and was the first singer with the trad music group Providence. As a founding member of Seisiún na nAmhrán/Galway Singers Circle, they holds regular informal music sessions for singers in Galway City.
Jackie has taught traditional singing workshops and has won First Place in the Galway Fleadh Cheoil for Traditional Singing in English in both 2016 and 2017.
